Samantha Williams is a film and media composer born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland. Samantha has composed additional music for a PBS-NOVA special-Sea Change: The Gulf Of Maine. Most recently she's been selected as a composer on the upcoming album release with Sounds of Red Bull. Her track "Take Flight" will be recorded with full orchestra at the Synchron Stage in Vienna, Austria. The track will recorded, mixed, and mastered alongside the Red Bull team and appear on the album come it's release in Summer 2025. Samantha has also been a part of the Berklee Performance Showcase event "Upside Down Universe"  as a lead composer. Her work will be played by the Berklee Motion Picture Orchestra during the show's premier February 25th, 2025. She has also composed for short films from film students at California College of the Arts, Rhode Island School of Design, Mass Art, Emerson College and Maryland Institute College of Art. Through her close collaborations with film directors and artists, Samantha has established herself as a composer that’s “pushing creative boundaries'' (Director. Boxi Chen) and dedicated to achieving excellence in her work. She's recently been selected as a composer for the upcoming show "'Evolution of Earth"- A live orchestra performance and visual experience with the help of an all immersive 360 degree space

Samantha is not only limited to film scoring, but has 9 years worth of experience as a Jazz Pianist. Growing up Samantha built her foundation on classical music and later developed a love for Jazz. Samantha was awarded the 'Berklee World Tour" Scholarship for piano performance and is currently studying Contemporary Writing and Production, as well as obtaining a minor in Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music. In addition to her compositional work, she's participated in various jazz ensembles and trios in the Boston area.
